Description:
This is a **VERY simple** CGI script if you know what you are doing.
I want a simple script to redirect ClickBank.com hoplinks on my websites
Currently to make a referral through the ClickBank.com affiliate program the affiliate must use an affiliate link that looks like this
http://hop.clickbank.net/?[affiliateID]/[merchantID]
I want a simple script I can run on my server in the CGI bin that will allow me to change one variable in the script for [merchantID] and upload it to any of my sites
The script should then allow anyone with a ClickBank ID to send traffic through a link to my site and have the script activate the cookie from clickbank and then redirect them through the hoplink to my site.
Example
Affiliate puts this link on their website as their affiliate link
http://www.mysite.com/cgi-bin/a.cgi?[affiliateID]
which then redirects through http://hop.clickbank.net/?[affiliateID]/[merchantID]
which will then take it from there through the clickbank.net server
This is extremely simple... I don't want any bells and whistles.
All it needs to do is take the [affiliateID] the affiliate specifies, pair it up with the [merchantID] I specify in the script, put it into the proper Clickbank hoplink format, and then redirect.
This script must be simple, it must be FAST, it must be BULLET-PROOF, and it must work every single time!
See http://www.clickbank.com/selling.html for more information on ClickBank hoplinks, etc.
I want the name of the script to be a.cgi
It should default to the default perl path on most servers.
It doesn't need a database or anything like that.
You should supply complete installation instructions (should be much other than where to replace the [merchantID] variable in the script and what CHMOD permission to place on it.)
Deliverables: 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Installation package that will install the software (in ready-to-run condition) on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) Complete ownership and distribution copyrights to all work purchased.
Platform:
unix or windows server
it should work in any cgi-bin
Remember that contacting the other party outside of the site (by email, phone, etc.) on all business projects < $500 (before the buyer's money is escrowed) is a violation of both the software buyer and seller agreements.
We monitor all site activity for such violations and can instantly expel transgressers on the spot, so we thank you in advance for your cooperation.
If you notice a violation please help out the site and report it. Thanks for your help.

Greetings,
my name is Bruno Martins, I am a very experienced perl programmer. I am interested in bidding on your project.
I can deliver your job as soon as you choose me for the project, I have got one script that does exacltly the same thing you want, I just have to change the url.
I will provide you all the instalation steps, and you will only have to
- copy the script to the cgi-bin directory - chmod 755 a.cgi - change the merchant id
the script works on every server , if you want to run it in a different server you only have to change the first line of the script
If you can take a look at my ratings, you can see that I won't let you down
Best regards,
Bruno Martins
