Description:
I currently have a cgi script that access an .htaccess file. It need to to be changed to access a mysql database. Very simple.
Deliverables: 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Installation package that will install the software (in ready-to-run condition) on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) Complete ownership and distribution copyrights to all work purchased.

This project would indeed be fairly simple to complete. The script is already very well documented and organized, and adding a new connection type to it without breaking the old connection types looks like a very reasonable task.
I am experienced with databases; with SQL in general and more specifically with MySQL. Upon completion of this project I would be able to send you the SQL code to create the table required in your MySQL database (unless you already have one in mind). I would send you any necessary instructions for setting the username, password, MySQL host and database name in the script's configuration file (I believe it was called '.config'), and of course I would send you the enhanced, documented version of the perl script.
