Description:
This is a RE-POST with a new deadline due to holidays. Need Help in completing reservation/scheduling, dispatching solution for a Limousine Company. We already have the reservation/scheduling part of the project almost done, need help in bringing it to completion and start the "Dispatch module" from scratch. To have an idea of how the existing system looks, pls refer the following sites: www.bluenexus.com , www.limowiz.com , www.triptracker.com . We started building the system on Windows NT4.0, with VB6 and SQL Server7.0, can always upgrade to Microsoft 2000 products based on your valued suggestions. We can discuss the specific requirements for our application after you look into the reference sites. The minimum requirements are as follows: a) Must be able to book rides in a multi-user environment and generate trip confirmation numbers (This part is already accomplished, we'll share the code with you) b) Must be able to make changes to the trip and keep a track of the changes, who made it(Agent ID/Name) and what were the changes with a "time-stamp". (This part is "almost" accomplished,need final touches, we'll share the code with you) c) Must be able to cancel trips and generate "Cancellation Number" again this must be tracked with the above conditions. (This part is "almost" accomplished, we'll share the code with you) d) Must be able to "PRINT", "FAX" and "E_MAIL" the tickets (here we will work with you in case you suggest for a third party dll). e) Dispatch Screens must include all the details related to the trip like "Pick-Up and Drop-Off" points, "Time", ability to assign/unassign a driver to a ride along with all visual clues with proper color coding to facilitate the dispatcher, pointing out approaching "pickups", all business rules must be implemented, we will let you know the specifics, you can get a better idea of this module when you go to the reference sites , download the "demo versions" and play with them.(Dispatch module must be started from scratch) NOTE: DEADLINE TO COMPLETE THIS PROJECT IS FEB 08, 2002. WE STRONGLY FEEL AND RECOMMEND THAT THIS PROJECT WILL REQUIRE ATLEAST 2 CODERS TO MEET OUR DEADLINE. We will work with you and buy third party dlls to minimize the coding time and expedite the process.
Deliverables:
Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. Complete copyrights to all work purchased.Final version MUST be "BUG" free, we have an absolute zero-tolerant policy on it.
Special Conditions / Other:
We appreciate bids from coders who understand "DEADLINES", to re-iterate our deadline is "FEB 08, 2002". Also all development/changes must be shared with us every other day(48 hrs) to keep track of the stages, we like to have frequent communication with our coders. All code must be "documented with comments" prior to the final release.
Remember that contacting the other party outside of the site (by email, phone, etc.) on all business projects < $500 (before the buyer's money is escrowed) is a violation of both the software buyer and seller agreements.
We monitor all site activity for such violations and can instantly expel transgressers on the spot, so we thank you in advance for your cooperation.

Hello,
I'm a Microsoft Certified Professional in VB6, with extensive experience in desktop multi-user database applications. I have studied your specifications carefully, and found that this project is quite similar to past ones I have worked on and delivered to the client. I'm prepared to work hard and according to your instructions, in order to complete my part of this project within your desired deadline. I'm currently working full time as a VB6 COM developer for a web dev company, but I usually manage to allocate 15-20 hours per week for personal projects.
