Description:
I have a full text document that illustrates what I need that I will send to serious bidders. Essentially the program(s) work like this: A "server" system monitors it's 2 com ports for data from telephone hardware, caller-id data mainly. It then sends this data across the internet to all clients logged in to the system to notify them that a call is coming in, and the caller id data, the line, etc. As a call comes in the "server" will query my database to look for the number, if it recognizes the number, the "client" will be notified who the caller is. If the number is not known, the "client" should be given the option to add a new caller, or to associate the number with an existing client.
The "client" software needs to have the options listed above, in addition to send a transfer message to an appropriate person. Each client will have the option of being a "reception" and a "sales". reception is notified of all calls, sales is only notified when a receptionist station sends a transfer message. The "client" also needs the ability to record from several audio sources on the computer, such as a usb mic and the pc sound card, as well as stream it over the internet to a "monitor" station.
The "monitor" will know what station is on which phone line, how long the call has gone on for, and be able to listen to any station they wish, multiple stations if possible, as well as being able to select the input the "client" is using.
Any questions contact me right away, hope to work with you soon asn this project is already 6 months overdue.

Hi biff, I have a few questions regarding your bid request: - What types of devices are connected to the comm ports? From your bid request I think it is a PBX/PABX system but I want to be sure. - Audio stream must be compressed? - What database engine are you using to get info about a phone number? - VB6 is OK for you? - May I receive the full documentation regarding your request? More questions will follow.
I have a lot of experience in developing Call Management Systems and data communication. Please review my info and have a look at my portfolio. I will wait for a private message if you want to work together at this project. Please feel free to ask any question that you might have. Regards, Teodor
