Description:
Looking for code to be integrated in my app that would capture the text the user highlighted in any other appplication by clicking on a button.
My app is an always on top toolbar or a popup menu form the systray. The user selects text in a foreign app, clicks a button on my toolbar or my menu and the selected text is sent to my app for parsing.
Deliverables:
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Complete ownership and distribution copyrights to all work purchased.
Platform:
My app is in VB6. Ideally it would be in VB6...
95 to XP.

Hello Buyer
I have developed a sample for your application need. I have attached it with this bid. What I have is a text field and a command button. The text box will hold the selected text form the previous window. Here is how it works.
When you click on the command button using API I get a handle to the previous window.
Then I set focus on that handle.
Then the selected text is copied to the clipboard.
Then focus is transfered to this application.
And data is transfered from the clipboard to the text box.
Try it out and let me know how it works. I can deliver this code to you for $35. If you are interested I can build a windows hook into the application and it will copy the selected text into your application when you press a combination of hotkeys(customizable). That way you do not have to go to your application and press the command button.
