Description:
I am looking for a VB6 program that will allow me to load an HTML document and then save it as a word document.
I am currently adding images and text to a word document but now need to add HTML documents. I do the following for images.
Private wr As Word.Application Set wr = CreateObject("Word.Application") wr.Documents.Add wr.Selection.InsertAfter vbCrLf & PageTitle & vbCrLf & vbCrLf wr.Selection.EndOf wr.Selection.InsertAfter vbCrLf & Description & vbCrLf & vbCrLf wr.Selection.EndOf wr.Selection.InlineShapes.AddPicture (FilePath) wr.Selection.InsertAfter vbCrLf & PageText & vbCrLf wr.Selection.EndOf wr.ActiveDocument.Save wr.ActiveDocument.Close False wr.Quit Set wr = Nothing
Create a VB6 App that will allow me to browse to an HTML document. Once the document is loaded I would like to press a “Save Button” and then have the HTML document published to word like I am doing with the above code. I am only interested in publishing the HTML page as it would look in the browser.
Deliverables: 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Installation package that will install the software (in ready-to-run condition) on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) Complete ownership and distribution copyrights to all work purchased.
Platform:
Windows

Greetings!
Hello Mike. This sounds intresting.
I have worked a lot with Word-VB and Word VBA.
I suppose what you want is that the user click on the browse button in the VB application and selects an HTML file. This file should then get enbeded within a word document and get saved.
Pls correct me if I have read you wrong.
My Bid Amount : $20
Let me know.
About me, I have 4+yrs experience working on VB/VBA/ASP and backend databases like Access and SQL Server and have a passion for developing solution through the integration of Microsoft products and developing web-desktop integration/interaction tools.
