Description:
I would like a VB6 program made to input a picture, (gif, jpg, bmp, png, etc..) and have the program then print out the image on many pieces of paper, like a poster. The the user can specify the lenght and width of the output picture. Attached are screen shots of what I want. If I did not include something that is nessassary to make this program work, then please add it in. I want it so that if you change the width in inches, it will change the height automatically, only if the "maintain aspect ratio is checked". Also, the grey lines of the picture must grow and shrink depending on the size of the picture to print. I want it so the user can select out a box and not print that box, or print just that box, as in 2.jpg. I want a center image option as in 2.jpg. If the length and width were 8.5 by 11 inches, then i guess you would not see the grey lines? Subrina.jpg is a picture of the output from the printer. For the resizing image part, I want it to print the name number of pages, but just change the size of the image, becuase maybe it will print better and look better if the image size is increased? To give you an example of this project go to http://www.cadkas.de/ehome.php?tfile=det/downengprint1.htm&pagetitle=Poster-Printery. This program uses something called "Increase DPI" before you print, which i think is just resizing the image.

I know VB sort of well, so I can add the easy things, but I just need help with these harder things.

If you have any questions, let me know.

======================================
Added 6/26/03

I forgot to say 2 things:

I want it so that if the image is larger than the alloted area of the maximezed window, I want it shrunken, like the image1.streach does, but if the image is smaller than the alloted space for the image, then do not increase its size, leave it the same. This is probably what most programmers were thingking when they placed their bid, i just wanted to be sure of this.

The second thing is that I want the option of printing the picture location at the bottom of each picture, like the German Poster-Printery 4.1 program, so that it makes like picture #1, "1,1" and the second picture in the first row, "2,1", if and the first colomn, second row, "1,2", etc...

I just wanted to be sure the coder understands it before I accept a bid.

Deliverables:
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.

2) Installation package that will install the software (in ready-to-run condition) on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.

3) Complete ownership and distribution copyrights to all work purchased.

Platform:
All windows.

Must be 100% finished and received by buyer on:
Jul 4, 2003 EDT
Deadline legal notes: All times are expressed in the time zone of the site EDT (UT - 5). If the buyer omitted a time, then the deadline is 11:59:59 PM EDT on the indicated date.
