Description:
I need a coder who can immediately provide me a word like text highlighter using only richtext box
I've developed an IM with all kinda text formatting and emoticons using two richtext, now only text highlighting remains and that too using two richtextbox. One for sending to the other one. I may send the complete code of mine to incorporate highlighter in that. The effect should be like the image text above (You need a feature like this if I'm not wrong).Check a feature and Wrong
Deliverables:
Should be pure Richtext and not the one from VBAccelerator
Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. Complete copyrights to all work purchased.

Hi,
I can do this for the rate quoted.
It is a classic Visual Basic Problem, One that I got around a few months back. I can make it highlight (like in the image) a lot of text in different colors at the same time and I can also make it automatically underline urls automatically with the hand pointer just like word without a lot of modification to your code. This will take me one day to accomplish

Hi,
I'll like to do the highlighting code you want but I'm sorry to inform you that I can't for the amount you stated, reason being that Internet access in here is slow & expensive and I will make a loss considering that I'll have to download your code & upload mine. However if you are willing to pay me $25, then I'll handle the job.
It's really worth it because it is not really a programming technique which any good programmer can handle. It is a SAFE visual basic hack which took me some considerable length of time to accomplish and you can apply it to future VB programs to do lots of other effects like wavy underlines, thick underlines, dot-dash-dot underlines, tables, zoom, url recognition, color highlighting, etc.
I assure you that you'll not be disappointed if you choose me.

Hi,
I'm afraid the minimum I can take is $25, I'm not really making much from this.
It's PURE rich textbox, but it's not the same control supplied w/ VB6. The one in VB6 accesses the older richedit dlls. The one i'll send you It's a PURE richtextbox control I tweaked out on my own by subclassing the older control to access the newer richtext control. So it's fully backward compatible and supports all the new features. It works fine, There is no way I can send you a demo without sending you my control.
Immediately you raise the bid, Inform me so that I can send you the control and the modules or you can send me your source code so that I implement it for you.
For future apps, I'm good in standard quality encryption (which you should implement in ur IM)

Hi,
I'm working on it, The RTF specs only allow 16 (QBASIC) colors for highlighting, so I have to change the toolbar to the style in word. send me any suggestions. It will be ready tomorrow but you'll have to escrow the payment before I upload the results to you. |
