I can help you with this one.

Project summary:
Retrieve message headers(POP3/IMAP), then check against the DB records and finally do something depending of the message subject.
I will provide thread functionality and pictures you attached.
If you want I can provide advanced statistics about type of messages processed depending the subject, for example:
All processed messages: 100
Emails not in the DB: 35
Emails in the DB: 65
Subscribe: 30
Unsubscribe: 30
Bounced Messages: 5.
