Description:
I have a need for a BHO (Browser Helper Object) that performs the following functions.
Please see http://toolbar.google.com/ for a similar system to what I need.

This BHO application is to be used for users to vote for a specific site. The users are not all Internet users. They are call center tech support people who are surfing sites for the purpose of adding / removing these sites from an Internet filter.

Sample Workflow:
1-User launches IE
2-BHO is shown with all buttons grayed out except login and get new site (which forces user to login)
3-When a new site is retrieved (from a database on the server) it is shown in the browser
4-The user then clicks a vote for / against buttons on the BHO. These results are stored back on the server.
5-User can then logout, or get another site (perhaps it automatically gets another new site until they choose to logout).

If you can also perform server side database work please let me know and read the specs below. If not assume that you are getting a URL from a webpage. The webpage will take as an argument the userid / password combo, and return a redirection to a new webpage. When you are submitting reponses it will include the userid / password (combo or a hash or them), the vote (for / against) and the base URL.

The server database is SQL Server 2000, accessed via an ASP.NET application. We can use Access for speed of development if needed.

The server pages need the following functions:
Login, Logout, UserGetNewURL, UserVoteURL, and UserStats.
I think the names alone should give you a pretty good idea of what they need to do.
The key here is that a URL in the database is tracked and the number of votes for a site are just tallied by this application. There are other criteria on how many most vote for a site for it to be included or removed.
I will provide a sample database and more detailed instructions to the winning bidder.
** Please tell me if you can perform the database and ASP.NET work

Deliverables:
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.

2) Installation package that will install the software (in ready-to-run condition) on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.

3) Complete ownership and distribution copyrights to all work purchased.

4) Documentation on setup of application.

Platform:
Windows 2000 Server on the server side, with ASP.NET (1.1 Framework).
Windows 98/2000/XP on client side.
IE 5.5 or higher for the client.

Must be 100% finished and received by buyer on:
Jun 24, 2003 EDT
Deadline legal notes: All times are expressed in the time zone of the site EDT (UT - 5). If the buyer omitted a time, then the deadline is 11:59:59 PM EDT on the indicated date.

Remember that contacting the other party outside of the site (by email, phone, etc.) on all business projects < $500 (before the buyer's money is escrowed) is a violation of both the software buyer and seller agreements. We monitor all site activity for such violations and can instantly expel transgressers on the spot, so we thank you in advance for your cooperation. If you notice a violation please help out the site and report it. Thanks for your help.
