Show Bid Request
automatically reposting auctions into ebay

Description:
I need an ASP page that can automatically capture information from an ebay auction and another one to automatically post another auction. I already have procedures to do so with Visual Basic. However, it uses the webbrowser component. When its a website, that component cannot be used. For the first page, a person just enters an auction number. Then it will capture the html part (excluding images). I need this so I can then parse the page to get relevent information. Do not just have it redirect them to the page, but behind the scenes grab the information then display it on the page. This would be used so based on the information the page can then decide whether to post another auction or not. No parsing is required here, just capturing the information using ASP. The next ASP page will post an auction automatically. This would happen behind the scenes. For the page, just have a sample form. When the form is submitted, it will automatically post the auction. Part of form would be user name and password. This assumes they have to be registered and have the credit card filed before using this. There would be no images to worry about because that would be part of the ad. For the autocompleting of the forms, I need it where if the name of the form or fields change, I can easily change it. Therefore, if a dll must be used, I would need the source code for the dll so when the name changes, I can just goto the spot on the code and change it. This is used because I am in the process of creating a system of keeping track of the auctions. If one has not been created when they goto the page, it would repost it and take them to the page. After reposting the ad, it needs to redirect them to the auction. I know it can be used by using the redirect method of ASP.
Deliverables: The ASP pages to capture the auction information from ebay pages. Here is an example of an auction page to capture information from. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2412997065 Then another set of pages to post an auction. The form needs to include everything needed to post the ad. There would be no need to upload images because I already have a place that hosts them. This should be as fast as possible. When going to the pages behind the scenes, it should capture just the text, not the actual images to increase the speed this.
