Description:
To be able to import any digital picture, and make big pictures, banners, poster, signs, murals, etc..
LOAD YOUR IMAGE AND TELL HOW BIG YOU WANT IT. EG (20 FEET BY 10 FEET) up to (100 feet by 100 feet)
THE PROGRAM AUTOMATICLY DOES THE CALCULATIONS
YOUR PRINTER THEN PRINTS THE PIECES.
It will then be up to the person to put the pieces together
I believe this should be a fairly simple project.

1) Complete and fully-functional working program in executable form
2) Installation package that will install the software (in ready-to-run condition) on Windows 95/98/2000/me/xp and NT.
3) I do not need full ownership of this program.
As long as I have resell rights that is fine.

Deadline legal notes: All times are expressed in the time zone of the site EDT (UT - 5). If the buyer omitted a time, then the deadline is 11:59:59 PM EDT on the indicated date.

hello,
i am a certified java programmer (see my profile for further info) and i have extensive experience with the Java printing API from some projects at work.
if you want a fast, stable, platform-independent solution (windows, linux, mac etc.) then Java would be a good choice.
i can develop the functionality in about 5 days. the program will have a friendly installation kit (Install Anywhere NOW, that is free to use for commercial purposes) and will be able to work with gif,jpeg,png,tiff etc. (there are free Java APIs that deal with this).
i see that your deadline would allow time for a proof-of-concept. i can give you the executable form, but without install kit and with some arbitrary limits for poster size (let's say no more than 1m/1m). if you are satisfied, you can close the bid and i'll deliver the full functionality.
