Description:
I need the following program written. It has to be as basic as possible and look like a beginner worked it out. The only source codes that can be used are:
#include<iostream.h>
#include<iomanip.h>
#include<math.h>
Background: A quadratic equation has the general form:
2
aX + bX + c = 0 (The exponent may not print correctly, but the first term is a * X-squared)
The solutions to this equation for X (if there are any) are the roots:
X = [- b + sqrt(b-squared - 4ac)] / 2a and X = [- b - sqrt(b-squared - 4ac] / 2a
Of course if the determinant (b-squared - 4ac) is negative, then there is no solution because the roots are imaginary (the square root of a negative is imaginary).
Assignment: The program will need to get three real number coefficients from the user (a, b and c in the general form above), solve the quadratic equation for any solutions X, and display the solution results. The format of the output counts, but you may format it however you wish using the cout command.
Run the program to test that it operates as intended for each different case.
Deliverables: Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. Complete copyrights to all work purchased.
Special Conditions / Other:
I need the source code as soon as possible. I have a deadline for the program due Tuesday morning
