Hi,
I've done this sort of thing in college several times. I'm an honours student so hopefully I'll be able to get you an 'A' :-)
I've attached a demo of the Swing GUI for you to see, just run 'java Library' and it will load the file books.dat and display the list, etc. The demo uses the Book class you supplied, along with two new classes, Library and LibraryWindow.
Note that the GUI isn't 100% finished, I'd like to format the text in the columns a bit better, plus I still have to add in the 'Add Book' and 'Search' functions.
Two question I have about the report:
2.3 Human-Computer Interface
Discuss how your interface meets the HCI guidelines covered in lectures or literature you may have read.
...do you have a copy of the guidelines from the lecture notes? If not I can do some research into the matter, but it would save some time.
3.3 Testing
Include a table of test data with columns showing what you tested, expected results and actual results.
...do you know what test data is it referring to here?
