Displaying float data from SQL Server on web with ASP
Bid Request Id: 5784

Description:
I am trying to display a float data type field in SQL Server named "fkV" on a webpage using ASP. My code returns this error: "Microsoft OLE DB Provider for SQL Server error '80040e14'
Incorrect syntax near the keyword 'Select' "
Here is my ASP code: DIM mySQLmk, objRSmk mySQLmk = "SELECT * FROM tblBsh_Cross_Reference WHERE fkV = " & strkV2 & ";" Set objRSmk = Server.CreateObject("ADODB.Recordset") objRSmk.Open mySQLmk, objConnSQL
I've used this same code to display number fields from MS Access with no problem, but I am stuck with SQL Server. Can someone help resolve this?
I believe this is a simple matter, so I put in a low bid. Let me know if I am wrong.
