Sometimes a user can have up to 100 or more snapshots. Once the user is done the images within the collection are saved disk and the hook is turned off. As I watch the memory composition through windows task manager it stays pretty high after everything has been removed from the collections and saved to disk. I am wondering if there are other ways to release the memory that was used during the capturing and saving to disk with out killing the program. I have added some source code that shows what is going on. I also included a word doc and PDF its rough but you should get the idea.
