I want to be able to call up the test patterns from this chip CLC030 National semiconductor. I have all the info for the coder on both chips. It seams strate forward. National gives all the addresses for the test patterns. I want one set of ports on the COP8CDR9 chip to call up the test patterns. By taking the port Hi logic or LO logic. If I can get this to work I will need mor code in the future. Lets get this ball rolling!! First, schematics of the board or, at least, list of connections between COP8 and CLC030 - which ports used to control which lines of CLC030. I can deduce this info from attached sources(clcane81), but explicit info would be better. Second, which different configurations of test patterns from Table 5 in CLC030 datasheet are required and how these patterns are selected? I think it will be some kind of jumpers or switch connected to COP8 input port, correct me if I wrong. And any other info about whole device and planned functionality will help.
