The progam should have a combo box where the user can select a "machine number". The values in the combo box should come from an Oracle table (t_machines). The Oracle field name is c_id (i.e. SELECT c_id FROM t_machines). The other field shown on the form will be "style". This field will be disabled and only show data. After the user chooses a machine, the "style" field should query the oracle database to find out what style is on that machine. This query would be something like this: SELECT c_fabricstle FROM c_jobs WHERE c_machine = <machine # selected in form> The VB to Oracle connection should be done via ADO. I will expand the program myself with additional items but I need something to "get me started." I may also need additional assistance with this program for the functionality I wish to add to it. Such additional work would NOT be expected within the original price. So the person whos bid I accept MAY have the opportunity to make additional money from me for this program. A sample screenshot is included in the attachment (sample.zip).
