Hi, Sounds a neat idea. Do you want to be able to move windows etc after you have drawn on them? I can think of a real simple way where an app takes a screen shot of the whole screen then allows you to scribble.
It might be possible so that you can overlay some kind of transparent screen which you can draw on.
Also do you require this to work on all windows platforms? This job would be easier on Win2k/XP since windows has built in transparency support.
Also is the app required in Delphi? Could I prehap use C++ or VB?
I'm going to go have a play with this idea now since it sounds fun. If you can get back to me with my above questions, and I'll see what&'s possible.
Thanks Andrew

Hi, After playing around with this for a bit I've found out that for this to work how I guess you want you will need to use Windows 2000 or Windows XP since both have support for transpancies whereas Win9x/NT doesn't meaning your big yellow highlighter will cover the screen without you being able to see whats behind it.
Anyway I've attached a demo of my highlighter, if you like the look of it I can turn it into a more useable app.
I was thinking maybe a program with a system tray icon, which when clicked on allowed you to select color and size of the pen, and then allowed you to start and stop drawing. Any comments on that? Or you own ideas?
Thanks & Enjoy Andrew
