Description:
Project 1 - Create a project to input chartering information about yachts and print a summary report showing the total revenue and average hours per charter:
Startup Form: The startup form will contain a menu. The File menu will contain commands for New Charter, Print Summary, Print Yacht Types, and Exit. Place separator bars before Print Summary and after Print Yacht Types. The Edit menu should have commands for Add Yacht Type, Remove Yacht, and Display Count of Yacht Types. The Help menu will contain an About command.
New Charter Form:
- The new charter form will contain text boxes for responsible party
- A dropdown combo box will contain the type of yacht: Ranger, Wavelength, Catalina, Coronado, Hobie, C & C, Hans Christian, and Excalibur. Any items that are added to the text box during processing must be added to the list.
- Another dropdown list will contain size: 22, 24, 30, 32, 36, 38, 45. (No new sizes can be entered at run time).
- An OK command button will add to the totals, print a line item on the summary report (do not end the page), and return to the startup form. The print line will contain the yacht type, size, responsible party, hours chartered, and total revenue for the hours chartered. The calculations will require price per hour --use the following chart:

- A Cancel command button will return to the startup form with no calculations.
- Set the Default property of the OK button to True; set the Cancel property of the Cancel button to True.
- Summary Report: The summary report will print the summary information and send the report to the printer. The summary information will include Total Revenue and Average Hours Chartered.
Deliverables:
Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. Complete copyrights to all work purchased.
Special Conditions / Other:
Save pointer file to a floppy disk. May accept higher that can be completed more quickly.
Remember that contacting the other party outside of the site (by email, phone, etc.) on all business projects < $500 (before the buyer's money is escrowed) is a violation of both the software buyer and seller agreements.
We monitor all site activity for such violations and can instantly expel transgressers on the spot, so we thank you in advance for your cooperation.
