For example http://www.mydomain.com/gettypo.php?word=internet would return (plain text, nothing fancy): internet interest intranet interment interne internee iternet interset intervent I have a database which contains words and their typos (see the attached sample database in .SQL format). This database contains only the "difficult" misspellings of words, and for the most part does not include simple letter omissions (such as "serch" for the word "search"), letter multiples (such as "searrch" for the word "search"), interchanging of letters (such as "saerch" for the word "search"), or insertion of random letters (such as "searxch" for the word "search"). The script should generate these misspellings itself and get the rest from the MySQL database. Optionally I would like the return results to be encrypted by some simple encryption method. The php script needs to be very fast as the actual database contains over 3,600,000 entries (database will be indexed though). It should be neatly written and well commented. If you have done similar work before please mention it in the bid. I'll also need your help in installing the MySQL database on the Linux server. Deliverables: 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Installation package that will install the software (in ready-to-run condition) on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) Complete ownership and distribution copyrights to all work purchased. If you want more complicated dynamic misspellings and have an algorithm in mind, I can apply that as well. Regarding the encryption component of your project: I can ROT-13 the output, or I can do a full-fledged encryption using the crypt PHP extension (eg, blowfish or whatever).
