Description:
This project is bout creating some database triggers with SQL scripts..There is very tiny lil 3 problems on it..which i have to get done as soon as possible..like arround in 5-6 hours. This database triggers should work Under Oracle 8i or 9i with sqlplus.
Deliverables: a) Implement and test a statement trigger that verifies a consistency constraint: “A truck cannot be used for two or more different trips on the same day”.
b) Implement and test a row trigger that verifies the following consistency constraint: “The values of attribute LEG# in TRIPLEG table must be contiguous, i.e. 1,2,3,4 … for each trip”.
c)Implement SQL script that adds to a relational table TRUCK an attribute TOTMTIME (TOTal Maintenance TIME) and sets the values of the attribute consistent with the current contents of the database. Attribute TOTMTIME should contain information about the total time of all maintenance tasks performed on each truck. If a truck has not been maintained so far set the appropriate value of TOTMTIMT to zero. Implement and test a trigger that automatically updates the values of TOTMTIME whenever it is necessary.
