Description:
Web page 1, madlibs.html
This is a static page in the public_html subdirectory . This page offer the user a choice of at least three stories. The use will select a story with a radio button and then submit the choice to the Perl cgi script that will generate the second page.
Web page 2
This page is generated by a Perl cgi script you will write and store in cgi-bin
The script will generate a form with spaces for the user to enter each replacement word. When the user submits the form, a Perl script will generate and display the story.
Web page 3
This page will display the story with the words replaces as did your original madlibs program and provide a link back to madlibs.html so the user can do another story if they wish.
The same Perl script must be called for all files with the file selection as a parameter passed from Page 1.
For page 2, generate one row of the form at a time for each word to be replaced. Be sure to save the file name in a hidden field as the script to generate page 3 will run from the beginning, with no "memory" of what file was used to generate this page.
For page 3, generate the story and display it. Note that you will need to insert the html code at the end of each line.
You can use two separate Perl scripts to generate pages 2 and 3 or a single script. If you use a single script, you will have to pass it a hidden field to tell it whether it is working on page 2 or page 3.
