Description:
I need an Extended Stored Procedure for Microsoft SQL Server (2000 and 7) that will replace the existing XP_SMTP_SendMail stored procedure which in turn is a replacement for the regular XP_SendMail procedure.
The current XP_SMTP_SendMail has a limitation of the number of characters in the body of an email. There is a work around where you attatch a text file as the body but this involves BCP/OSQL/DTP and we wish to avoid interacting with extenal file systems (security and speed).
The intent of the stored procedure is to send large HTML table pages generated from SQL (reports) with a character length greater than 8000 or greater than 64000 characters.
Deliverables: 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Installation package that will install the software (in ready-to-run condition) on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) Complete ownership and distribution copyrights to all work purchased.
Platform:
Windows 2000 Microsoft SQL Server 2000 Microsoft SQL Server 7
Remember that contacting the other party outside of the site (by email, phone, etc.) on all business projects < $500 (before the buyer's money is escrowed) is a violation of both the software buyer and seller agreements.
We monitor all site activity for such violations and can instantly expel transgressers on the spot, so we thank you in advance for your cooperation.
If you notice a violation please help out the site and report it. Thanks for your help.

I have started to implement this dll (I found the project challenging enough to do it, even if you won't accept my bid).
I'd like to hear from you if you need the same input parameters as the original xp_smtp_sendmail accepts, or you do not need all of them. Also, any other details will be very helpful.
All the best,
Cristian Amarie

I have 80% of the work done done without any other third-party components - just SQL server and CDO installed. Can deliver fully functional demo in 4 days and finish the job until deadline.
All the best,
Cristian Amarie
