Description:
I need a random password generator that will create strong (Microsoft&'s version of strong) passwords with the click of a button. I need this password stored in a database with client name address, phone, etc. I need employees to login to the generator and generate passwords for clients. I need to log every time an employee sees or generates a password, but I want the employees to be able to go to the client record without logging (Show password button??). In the event of an employees departure I need to be able to run a report off ALL passwords the employee has been exposed to so we can change them for our clients. I am also open to additional ideas. I need thoroughly documented code.
This will tie into a larger database with client billing information, contract information, notes about billing (searchable), a dispatch system and other client details that has yet to be created. This is the first piece of the puzzle. It must be accessible from our web site connecting to a SQL server at our office. This is the first time I have tried RAC so if you need additional information before providing a bid, please feel free to contact me.
Deliverables: 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Installation package that will install the software (in ready-to-run condition) on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) Complete ownership and distribution copyrights to all work purchased.
Platform:
Windows 2000/XP/2003 Internet Explorer
Must be 100% finished and received by buyer on:
Apr 30, 2003 EDT
Deadline legal notes: All times are expressed in the time zone of the site EDT (UT - 5). If the buyer omitted a time, then the deadline is 11:59:59 PM EDT on the indicated date.
Remember that contacting the other party outside of the site (by email, phone, etc.) on all business projects < $500 (before the buyer's money is escrowed) is a violation of both the software buyer and seller agreements.
We monitor all site activity for such violations and can instantly expel transgressers on the spot, so we thank you in advance for your cooperation.
If you notice a violation please help out the site and report it. Thanks for your help.

Dear Sir,
I was wondering if you could clarify 'Microsoft's version of strong'. Generally, passwords are set by the user and consist of letters and/or numbers. Although, if you're looking for a key code generator, then that's a completely different process.
If the random password is what you're after, then I have one written in SQL that generates a random password for new users. Because it's done in SQL, it would be easy to adapt it to fit your exact needs and log the information into which ever tabe you choose.
Regarding the key code generator. This requires an input parameter of some sort, such as the persons full name. Of course, if you simply want this randomized then I could generate a random number as the input parameter and then generate the key code based on this. The will look very similiar to one of Microsoft's key codes when you install Windows 2000 or Office XP.
Thank you for your time and consideration in this matter and I hope to hear from you soon!
Kind regards, Chris
