Small Access Query
Bid Request Id: 52532

Description:
The zip file was wrong - I fixed it -
I need this done in the next 24 hours.
I have two simple tables attached. They are for items in inventory. The first table starts with a BB entry that is the begining balance and it's cost. The remaining records are purchases through the year.
The second table is the sales table. It shows how many were sold at what price.
I need to know that from the first sale we used some of the beginning balance and that cost per item. The second sale used up the reamining begining balance at one cost and some of the next purchase at a different cost.
What I ultimately need to know is the cost of each sale and how many are left in the ending balance and what those in the ending balance cost.
There is a word document attached and an access database. The attached database has only one item in it. The query must be able to give me this information on a list of almost 800 items in inventory linked by part number.
Deliverables: 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Installation package that will install the software (in ready-to-run condition) on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) Complete ownership and distribution copyrights to all work purchased.
Platform:
Windows 2000 / Access 2000
Must be 100% finished and received by buyer on:
Mar 14, 2003 EDT
Deadline legal notes: All times are expressed in the time zone of the site EDT (UT - 5). If the buyer omitted a time, then the deadline is 11:59:59 PM EDT on the indicated date.
Additional Files:
This bid request includes IMPORTANT additional attached files. Please download and read fully before bidding.
Remember that contacting the other party outside of the site (by email, phone, etc.) on all business projects < $500 (before the buyer's money is escrowed) is a violation of both the software buyer and seller agreements.
We monitor all site activity for such violations and can instantly expel transgressers on the spot, so we thank you in advance for your cooperation.
If you notice a violation please help out the site and report it. Thanks for your help.

Okay, I have the database now. I have looked at it, and can provide for you a function in the database that can accept parameters and create a table with the results that you can then report from. I am not sure what your data interface is (if any) however, it is important. If your interface is external to the database (ie ODBC), you will not be able to access the function. If it is internal to the database (forms in the database) or there is no interface, just data manually entered in the tables, then accessing the function will not be a problem.
If you have an external data access interface (maybe a VB app that connects directly to the database) I have other alternatives for generating the data.
Let me know what route you would wish to pursue. Also, I do not wish to pressure you in any way, but you do have a deadline that I can meet, so let me know if the $95 bid is acceptable to you, and I can start immediately.

As I previously stated, I will keep my bid at $50 to remain competitive. This is for the creation of a class module that will create a table that you can report from for the cost analysis that we discussed.
