I'll do what you need in 1-3 days, depending on particular requirments. I'll work with you until you're completely satisfied with results.
I've already done simple chat for myself, so this area is familiar to me.
It is posible to lower price down (may be drammatically) after I know your requirments.
For example simple chat (no rooms, text msgs only, simplest UI, Java applet as a client + Java server class that you can run under IIS or separately) costs $30
Thanks, gamma.

Now I jave two standalone applications - client and server. Client can be converted into applet easily (just 5 min). Server can be started from IIS (I did such task before) or as standalone application (indepenent of IIS). No problems with multiple applets for one user. Now chat is independent of session but it is possible to keep session id in mind (and send it to server). Each user should have it's unique ID=displayname. I can separate ID and displayname if you want. A disign of applet is just as you want (messages and online list). You'll need no DLL at all - pure java. And about sessions and DB - what do you want to control? I can do almost everithing that is technically possible. Let me know what kind of control do you want... Did I answer all your questions? More questions? |
