Description:
I have a web site that i update with an undefined period. The site has more than 20000 members. I need the following software:
Will run on the client side, settle on the status bar and run automatically when windows is opened. The icon on the status will be a red, static icon. The software will connect to my web server everytime the user goes online, and check if there's an update. If not, it will sleep until next connection.
Deliverables:
On the server side, i will have an admin tool, simply a button saying "notify update" on it. When i click it, every client who are already online will immediately see the icon turns to green (and flashes, if possible) and when they click on it, they will be redirected to my site.
The ones who are offline, will get the notification on their next internet session
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Installation package that will install the software (in ready-to-run condition) on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) Complete ownership and distribution copyrights to all work purchased.

Deadline legal notes: All times are expressed in the time zone of the site EDT (UT - 5). If the buyer omitted a time, then the deadline is 11:59:59 PM EDT on the indicated date.
Remember that contacting the other party outside of the site (by email, phone, etc.) on all business projects < $500 (before the buyer's money is escrowed) is a violation of both the software buyer and seller agreements.
We monitor all site activity for such violations and can instantly expel transgressers on the spot, so we thank you in advance for your cooperation.

Bunca yabanci arasinda buyer olarak bir Turk'u gormek bana artik yavas yavas kendi kabugumuzdan ciktigimiz mujdesini veriyor..
Size kisaca kendimden bahsedeyim. Adim Ozan Dogan. 10 yildir programcilikla ugrasiyorum. VB ve Borland C++ dillerinde uzmanligim var. Daha once genis kapsamli olarak bir messenger projesi icin Turkcell ve Telsim'le calistim. Ekte size ekran ciktilarini gonderiyorum. Internet tabanli uygulama yazma konusunda buyuk bir birikimim ve tecrubem var. Bahsettigim messenger'i bastan sona kendi protokolumu olusturarak ben yazdim. Sunucu ve istemci tabanli olarak donanimin musait oldugu surece sinirsiz baglanti kabul edebilme yetenegine sahip bir mimaride tamamen encrypt edilmis multithreaded bir protokolle yazildi.
Internet uzerinden dagatilacak bir uygulama yazdiginizda download sirasinda kullanicinin sikilmamasini istersiniz. Bu yuzden programin olabildigince ufak olmasi gerekir. Bu programi Visual Basic ile yazmaya kalsam kurulum paketi 1.5 MB'in altinda olmayacaktir cunku bildiginiz gibi Visual Basic kendi runtime kitapligina mecburdur. VB6 runtime'in olmadigi bir makina (ayrica burada Winsock.ocx'de gerekli olacaktir) yazilan programi calistiramayacaktir.
Bu yuzden uygun gordugunuz taktirde programi Borland C++ Builder 6.0 altinda derlemeyi dusunuyorum. UPX adi verilen bir Exe sikistiriciyla tamamen bagimsiz (stand alone - independent) bir program en fazla 300-500KB seviyesinde olacaktir. Ancak isteginiz halinde ayni programi Visual Basic altinda da yazabilirim.
PSC'de eski, ancak RAC'da yeni oldugumdan, su an benim icin sizden alacagim bir referans daha onemli. Bu yuzden fiyat bildirmiyorum. Diger arkadaslarin nasil bir fiyat onerdigini bilmiyorum ancak Bidding bittikten sonra sizden bir teklif alabilirim.
Program bittikten sonra da herturlu sikintinizda size yardimci olmaya calisirim. Ayni dili konusmamizda iletisimimizi guclu kilan bir avantaj olacaktir.
