Description:
Need to integrate MS DNS server with a custom application that will pull from SQL tables and create/modify the local boot and zone files. You will also have to use the DNS api to instruct the running DNS server to reload any new or modified zones. You will have to design the sql tables ie MX records A records etc... The management will be in aspx and will need to have the ability to add a zone, host record, cname, mx record,modify ttl,soa etc to the SQL server. A local service will run on the machine and will have a management program on it that allows you to specify the sql server and database to connect to and the interval to check for modifications to the zones. All code must be well documented.
Deliverables:
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Installation package that will install the software (in ready-to-run condition) on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) Complete ownership and distribution copyrights to all work purchased.
Platform:
Will run on windows 2000. And use SQL 2000 as the database on the backend.
