Description:
Internet Explorer Content Filter
I need a solution developed in Visual Basic 6 to watch over Internet Explorer windows and guard against black-listed words.
The solution should have a listbox where the black-listed words can be added. If a word is detected that is in the List box redirect the Internet Explorer window to C:\badsite.htm (where a HTML file should tell the user that an offence has been detected).
Also, a log should be generated stating the time, URL and what word was detected.
This program MUST be able read the actual content of the window, and not just rely on the title of the site, like many other solutions. This said, it would still be acceptable if the program could read the title and respond, but it just can't be the only method of defence.
Samples will definatly speed up the bidding process, as the first working sample I see I will accept instantly, no questions asked. Great job for those with no rating yet.
Regards, Ben Gray

Hello.
I've already done this. Please, try the sample attached. To try, please, run IEFilter.exe, enter the bad word you wish to monitor, redirection URL (c:\stopbad.html, for example) and press “Start finding” button. Run IE browser, navigate to any page that contains the word you specified (c:\bad.html, for example) and notice that the browser will be automatically redirected to the page you specified.
Thank you, Alexander Rayev.
P.S. The demo doesn't allow entering more than one word and doesn&'t write the log. This will be available in the full version.

This is the rebid with the new sample. The error in type checking while going thru web browsers windows was corrected. Now you could open shell windows and the browser windows at the same time.
Thank you, Alexander Rayev.
