The control should support two main styles, Standard(left pic) and Smooth(right pic)--both with customizable fonts & colors of all visual aspects. The control allows the developer to enter icons and text in the first column, the 2nd column of the grid is used to enter data by the user. The data entry formats should support, combo box lists (filled with custom data), combo boxes filled with Boolean choices (true/false), date/time picker, masked values, color picker (returning colors in hex & rgb) and text Standard style should expand/contract like a treeview control. Smooth style should SMOOTHLY slide open and closed to show the list items under a group header, directional arrows (as shown in the image) should be included. The demo shows the default style which is similar to the VB IDE property editor, and I will also add the 'XP' style if my bid is successful. Multiple PropertyItems can be added to a group, and set to one of the following ItemTypes: IDGTextBox IDGCustomComboFixed IDGCustomComboEdit IDGDotDot IDGColorPicker IDGBoolean IDGDatePicker (Possibly a IDGCustom so the end user can add their own styles ?) An event is raised when the user changes a value e.g. selects a color, types in a new value etc. I have completed IDGTextBox, IDGBoolean and IDGCustomComboFixed for the demo. I have also added a simple color picker for IDGColorPicker, but I plan to make this more advanced - similar to the VB IDE color picker. The control uses only VB controls as per your request.
