Description:
I need a template for a disaster survival web site. This site deals with natural disasters that may hit this planet. The site lists geological, archaeological and legendary references where these things have happened in the past and will happen again.
The site also deals with how we might survive such disasters. As such it deals with solution sets for this stuff. The site must be up-to-date with some of todays best sites, it must be clean and friendly to the eye. At the same time it must not be to large in size, so that it downloads quickly for surfers.
I have attached a word document that contains a rough design for the site. I intend to fill in the details later. The menu must have sub menu drop downs when you place your mouse over the buttons.
The header will be up top, to the left will be the menu, in the middle will be the body of the site. Which for now will be blank.
Any portfolios you have please include, so that i may see some of the sites you have done before.
Deliverables: 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Installation package that will install the software (in ready-to-run condition) on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) Complete ownership and distribution copyrights to all work purchased.
Platform:
All browsers
Must be 100% finished and received by buyer on:
Feb 23, 2003 EDT
Deadline legal notes: All times are expressed in the time zone of the site EDT (UT - 5). If the buyer omitted a time, then the deadline is 11:59:59 PM EDT on the indicated date.
Additional Files:
This bid request includes IMPORTANT additional attached files. Please download and read fully before bidding.
Remember that contacting the other party outside of the site (by email, phone, etc.) on all business projects < $500 (before the buyer's money is escrowed) is a violation of both the software buyer and seller agreements.
We monitor all site activity for such violations and can instantly expel transgressers on the spot, so we thank you in advance for your cooperation.
If you notice a violation please help out the site and report it. Thanks for your help.

Hi,
I am replying to your post for disaster survival website as I would like to be considered for this project.
If selected I would produce your website in HTML, with dHTML menus for the drop-down as suggested in you word document.
I am 25 years old and have around 8 years experience in web development and design. I have previously work for large companies and I am now freelancing my services. For examples of my recent work please visit:

As you can see I have no rating yet on rentacoder.com so I am looking for build on this and my personal portfolio, so if my price is not competitive please contact me as I am open to negotiation.
I look forward to hearing from you soon. Regards,
