Description:
This assignment is based on the prior assignment. I have the code for the first assignment in the zip file. I' very limited on what i can spend so if you can help me out there i would appreciate it. i've included the first assignment problems if you want to look at them as well as the code. All files need to compile seperately. The code should be written in the format of the first assignment with exceptions to adding the class and the changes below.
We have just finished a series of meetings with the Kelsey Theater people. They want some changes to the seating chart system. The good news is that the changes will be maintenance and not part of the original system development. That means that we have some additional time (see the due dates above). There is also a change required by our CIO (Chief Information Officer).
The changes are as follows:
• Save the seating chart data between executions of the program. The file name will be seatingchart.dat.
• When the program begins execution, load the seating chart and row price data automatically. If there is no seatingchart.dat file, initialize all seats to unoccupied. If there is no rowprice.dat file, stop the program.
• The user will not be given the option of reloading the row price data during program execution.
• The user will still be given the option to initialize the seating chart to all seats unoccupied during program execution.
Our CIO requires the final change. In looking over the system specifications she noticed that there are no classes in the design. She pointed out that we spent a lot of time and money to install C++ in place of C. Therefore, the system design must be changed to include a class object. The seating chart will now be a class. There is only one restriction on the design of the SeatingChart class: in order to enhance its reusability, the SeatingChart class is prohibited from any direct interaction with the user. This means that it MUST NOT use cin or cout. It can still read from and write to data files. The class specification and implementation must be stored in separate files and the implementation must be compiled separately from the client code.
