Description:
We need a "server" that will listen in on a port and receive an imap formatted request for email messages from Outlook or other client.
Then, it will call our code and give it the mail login name and password. Our code will interface with the imap server and return the messages to this server.
This server will pass the messages back to Outlook in imap format.
No actual interfacing to the imap mail server is required. Nor is any user interface needed. And, we already have code that does this with pop mail servers which can possibly be modified to talk imap.
Our code is in PHP but this server code doesn't have to be. The pop server mentioned above is written in Perl.
Deliverables:
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Installation package that will install the software (in ready-to-run condition) on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) Complete ownership and distribution copyrights to all work purchased.
