Description:
My site is password protected, users are required to enter a login id and password in order to acess the site. i would like to be able to send targeted html email to my customers so that can enter the site in response to my email and be able to order items immediately, bypasing the login registration.
Deliverables: Have an option that would enable my existing customers to bypass registration and gain instant acess to the site.
have an ability for the site to remember existing customers, so that they won't have to register every time they enter the site.
Remember that contacting the other party outside of the site (by email, phone, etc.) on all business projects < $500 (before the buyer's money is escrowed) is a violation of both the software buyer and seller agreements.
We monitor all site activity for such violations and can instantly expel transgressers on the spot, so we thank you in advance for your cooperation.
If you notice a violation please help out the site and report it. Thanks for your help.

I'm not sure you should be wanting to do this, after all, if it bypasses the login, anyone accessing the email will be able to order using that persons account, and since it would basically have to log them in, they would also be able to alter account details, such as passwords, etc.
Although most of this can be ignored if you have 'Remember Me' functionality, and they would get forced to login automatically if they don't have the cookie set. |

For this, I will modify your existing checking so that instead of always forcing someone to log in, it will first check if there are cookie details available, and use those.
I will also modify the login page so that users can choose whether or not they want to be remembered.
Do you want log in and shopping to always be secure (HTTPS)? |
