Description:
This is a really easy program. The program is to calculate and display the water bill for a customer of a city utility. Each customer of the company is assigned an "account number"- a lowercase letter followed by an integer value(for example: c123 or h56789) The beginning letter of the account number is a code indicating the type of customer - the lowercase h is for home customer, the lowercase letter c for commercial customers and the lowercase letter i for industrial customers. Any other character at the beginning of the account number indicates that the account number is invalid.
Rates are computer as follows:
code h:
$5.00 plus &0.0005 per gallon used
code c:
$1000.00 for the first 4 million gallons or less
and $0.00025 for each additional gallon
code i:
$1000.00 if usage does not exceed 4 million gallons
$2000.00 if usage is more than 4 million but does
not exceed 10 million gallons
$3000.00 if usage exceeds 10 million gallons.
1. Prompt the user to enter an account number.
2. Read the account number
3. Display an error message and stop if account number
is invalid.
4. Prompt the user to enter the number of gallons of
water used
5. Read the amount entered
6. Display the water bill for the customer. Round the
amount two decimal places and display a $ before
the amount.
Deliverables:
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Installation package that will install the software (in ready-to-run condition) on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) Complete ownership and distribution copyrights to all work purchased.

Deadline legal notes: All times are expressed in the time zone of the site EDT (UT - 5). If the buyer omitted a time, then the deadline is 11:59:59 PM EDT on the indicated date.
Special Conditions / Other:
This won't take long at all. So thats why I set the bid low. I am willing to raise it.
Remember that contacting the other party outside of the site (by email, phone, etc.) on all business projects < $500 (before the buyer's money is escrowed) is a violation of both the software buyer and seller agreements.
We monitor all site activity for such violations and can instantly expel transgressers on the spot, so we thank you in advance for your cooperation.
