Description:
I have an ASP script that tracks web stats. I need a script that will insert a record and retrieve the unique id at same time. This site may have 1000's of records inserting at same time. I have this working for Access, but not SQL. I need a very reliable script for this (a simple "SELECT Max(id)" will not work here)that will work for SQL or both preferably.

Deliverables:
Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.

Special Conditions / Other:
I need this yesterday.
