Description:
A webhosting client needs to be able to have a centralized support system so that all clients email one location and the current (on duty) support personell can answer each email and reply and keep a log so that all support personel can access it.

Deliverables:
The program must be located on a single server and use a SQL database (or Access) to track/store all emails. The system must be able to check two or more common email accounts such as support(AT)domain1.com and support(AT)domain2.com etc... (This should be easily modified for future accounts) There needs to be a support logon that the support personnel can log into retrive the email. The program need to be able to check the email every minute automatically using some kind of Windows 2000 server service once the system detects a new mail then an email (just a message saying there is new email to be checked) is sent to a set of email address (Support personnel on duty) to let them know there is new mail that needs to be checked. The application itself should have a central logon and have a yahoo type look and feel. The incomming email should be in a central "inbox" as the support person clicks on a New mail message it opens if the support person chooses to reply they have a check box to check and opens in to a area to reply to the email (copying the original contents of the email to keep the string going) . When the email is sent the email is marked as read and the user can move the email to another box or create another box such as a client or anoter name and it be moved there. Upon replying to the e-mail the database also stores the support persons name, date and time. There should be a TOP admin who can delete and move emails around and for general maintenance. In case of an attachment or HTML email it should be able to store the attachment )like Yahoo) and be able to forward the email to another account.Any of the support personnel should be able to display All the incomming mail over a selected time period 1 day, 2day, 3days ...all the way to 90 days no matter what folder the email is in) there also should be a search method to look for email based on keyword strings in the message area, subject area and From and To areas etc...an by date range. Out going mail is to use ASPMail.
