Description:
I am trying to build a dynamic html "Query Builder" to emulate the Access query builer. When the user clicks a field name, I want to make that field a new column in a table. I'm trying to do it by creating a span within a table and using the .innerHTML property to insert a new column (i.e. " | Filed Name | ")
This is not working. Is it possible to do this some other way?
Deliverables: 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
Platform:
IE

I wrote a short example how to insert a new field name into existing
element of the
. Is this what you need?
