Description:
I am applying for various job openings that require client server experience in C++, Java and ASP and have used these languages at one time or another, but havn't had the opportunity to design or partake in the development of a complete system!
I'm looking for the source code of a client server application written in 1 or all of these languges for analysis purposes only, not to execute or resell, so parts of it can be missing if not critical to the understanding of the overall system.
The software should be a real world application if possible!
Thanks!
Deliverables: The source code for the Client & Server software is needed, for learning purposes only!
Platform:
Windows
Must be 100% finished and received by buyer on:
Feb 26, 2003 EDT
Deadline legal notes: All times are expressed in the time zone of the site EDT (UT - 5). If the buyer omitted a time, then the deadline is 11:59:59 PM EDT on the indicated date.
Remember that contacting the other party outside of the site (by email, phone, etc.) on all business projects < $500 (before the buyer's money is escrowed) is a violation of both the software buyer and seller agreements.
We monitor all site activity for such violations and can instantly expel transgressers on the spot, so we thank you in advance for your cooperation.
If you notice a violation please help out the site and report it. Thanks for your help.

Hi sourcecode:
Let's make a KILLER deal. You won't be able to pass this up ...
I have a real-world application online right now, with a 500-member user base -- and I am perfectly willing to give you an ENTIRE copy of the website, source code and all.
See it here:
Professional Networks - http://www.pronetwrk.com
It is a Java Server Pages (JSP) application, running on the following platform since January 2002:
OS: Microsoft Windows 2000 Server SP3 Web Server: Apache 2.0.43 HTTP Server Application Server: Apache Tomcat 4.1.18 JVM: Java 2 SDK 1.4.1_01 Database: Microsoft SQL Server 2000 JDBC Driver: Microsoft JDBC Driver for SQL Server 2000
The application architecture is Model-View-Controller (MVC) with a controller servlet, a database JavaBean, and assorted Java Server Pages as well as miscellaneous files related to the website's content and membership.
The user interface was developed with the Adobe Web Collection (Photoshop, ImageReady and GoLive). The backend servlet, bean and JSPs were developed using Forte for Java 4.0 CE.
I will be redoing the site within the next month to include Flash animation and some pretty pictures -- and I am definitely interested in your bid request for source code.
Further, if you accept my bid, I will not only give you the source code in its entirety, but I will also provide **60 days of ABSOLUTELY FREE support and explanation ** about *every* aspect of the coding and design. I will also make myself available to you for email and chat (AOL Instant Messenger and MSN Messenger) whenever possible.
By the time we've finished, you will be as knowledgeable about Java programming and development on the front-end and server side of this application, as though you'd created the site yourself.
I'll I ask is that you don't use the site in production. ;-)
Please let me know what you think. And if you could decide sooner than later, I would appreciate it greatly.
Thanks,

And sourcecode...
If you need a little more convincing, here's a final bit of information --
I'll even walk you through the process of setting up the website on a machine of your own, so that you can use the site from the comfort of your own home.
Need a copy of SQL Server 2000? I've got you covered.
This deal is so good ... well, it should be against the law. ;-)
I'd really like to help you out, because you'd really be helping me, as well.
Thanks,
