Description:
I would like an application done for Linux platform. Our situation is that we want to utlize qmail to send millions of mails daily, basically max. out the bandwidth we have available. Here is what we require: We need a front end php application which will allow us to que the mail by entering the from, to, subject, mail body and also advance things like mail merge. Then, the php should also allow me to select a list name from a listbox. The list names will come from a desired folder on that machine and I can select the one I want to use for mailing.
After that, I want the client side application to take in the request from the php page and que them into qmail so that the mails are sent to all the addresses in the list(s).
After that, I want the application on server to check every few minutes and check the progress of the job. When the job is complete, I want it to zip the log file for that job and email it or move it to a directory on that computer which is linked via ftp so that I can just download it. In that case, only a notification mail will be needed saying the job is done and the log can be viewed in the ftp folder.
In addition, all notification mails should show general stats like % of mails sent, % showed error etc.
We need this asap! Within 1-2 days.
We would also like the coder to do the installation as we are not at all fluent with Linux. Coder should also be available for support for 30 days after completion.
Deliverables: 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Installation package that will install the software (in ready-to-run condition) on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) Complete ownership and distribution copyrights to all work purchased.

Thanks for inviting me for this project.
There's no problem at all doing this, but I have some questions.
What do u mean with 'MERGE EMAILS'?
Which log's do u want? Qmail logs?
What u mean with notification emails? (same as logs?)
I'm a perl expert, but not a PHP. Is there any problem doing this using perl?
Instalation isn't problem depending which Linux distribution u are using.
Unlimited Support for any kind of bug.
Accepting or not accepting my bid, count with me for any help.
I suggest u use return path + .qmail + simple script to check for bounces. (tell this to any coder u choose as a sugestion)
