Description:
I have a medium sized client/server type application written in VB6, which utilizes SQL server with Stored Procedures.
I am converting this to a ASP.NET application but I am new to ASP programming so I am not very efficient.
What I am looking for is an experienced ASP.NET programmer whose code I can learn from, to provide you with screen shots of existing screens with the list of data elements and stored procedures used, and you provide me with a ASP.NET replacement for the same functionality, which I will incorporate into the main ASP.NET application which I have already started.
If your work is cost effective I will use you for more screens/features in the app.
Attached is the screen shot of the first screen to convert and a SQL script that shows the fields in the database.
For this first phase, I need the new screen/components to: 1. Add a new record, 2. Delete a record, 3. Modify a record based on changes that the use made to the screen. 4. Retrieve a record by Id
Deliverables:
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Complete ownership and distribution copyrights to all work purchased.
Platform:
Windows 2000, Windows XP, IIS 5.0/6.0
Must be 100% finished and received by buyer on:
Jan 31, 2003 EDT
Deadline legal notes: All times are expressed in the time zone of the site EDT (UT - 5). If the buyer omitted a time, then the deadline is 11:59:59 PM EDT on the indicated date.
Special Conditions / Other:
Price per screen, which includes
Adding record,
Deleting record,
Updating record,
Retrieving a record.
You can also respond with an hourly rate with a "not-to-exceeds $ amount"

Price depends on many factors:
- Do you have grid like structures on the screen?
- Is batch update requried, or simple one (one record per operation, via direct SQL statement or calling a stored procedure
- etc..
Hourly rate is between 10 and 12$, depending of the type of work and estimated duration.
