Description:
This should be a very simple project for any c/c++ programmer who knows pointers well. I have a complex structure that i want to pack into a buffer and send it to a function. The catch is that the receiving function cant access the address space of the sending function so the pointers are all invalid. So we pack the structur to be sent into a char buffer and send it. The reciving function should be able to read from the buffer and be able to recreate the structure at its end.
Deliverables: in stage 1 due Sunday (tomorrow) i need atleast simple structurs containing pointers to chars, other simple structurs done, stage 2: more complex structure will be provided. stage 3: will fit it myself. I will use a g++ compiler at school to comile. The program should work. Will leave it to user to define complex structures. code has to be well commented.

This seems simple, but I will need clarification on how you want the buffer to be. Or I can do it my own way if you'd like. I can also provide pseudocode and comments.
