The coder should explain hows the program flow and how/what make his work secure. The program should pass all the available 'Recover/Unerase software'. P/s - You could use any programming language, but it need to work in my VB6 program. Direct hard drive access is not possible in VB6, I could write you a C++ DLL which you could call from your VB program. However, I code cryptographic modules for a living and ALREADY have a VB6 class module which does what you want. It uses the Windows API for speed and accuracy, and uses the 'cycling bit' method (Dept. of Defense standard) to destroy data. It WILL pass any commercial data recovery program.
