Description:
Basically i want a simple DOS program that will execute commands and show png image files based on a simple text file
for instance the text file would read
Mario Brothers mario.png mame.exe -mario
Donkey Kong dkong.png mame.exe -dkong
When the file is booted up in Dos it will pop up just the names
Mario Bros
Donkey Kong
You choose what you want and it shows the name of the game and the .png file
You hit enter and it runs the game using the
mame -mario commands
It would run whatever parameters were set.
ex: mame.exe -mario -sound1 -joystick
Image viewer can be jpg or gif if it is easier.
Additional games could be added from by editing a the .txt file.
Program would need to be able to run from a cdrom
with no need for config files to be written to hard drive
Deliverables:
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Installation package that will install the software (in ready-to-run condition) on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) Complete ownership and distribution copyrights to all work purchased.

Deadline legal notes: All times are expressed in the time zone of the site EDT (UT - 5). If the buyer omitted a time, then the deadline is 11:59:59 PM EDT on the indicated date.

Sir,
I'm a guru level QuickBasic programmer and able to do lots of advance stuffs by incorporating assembly language.
For the past few years, I've done countless MS-DOS programs, and have even written programming tutorials and guides for beginners and intermediates.
I'm able to finish the program you want ASAP.

Sir,
I've broad experience with VB programming and especially MS-DOS programs and have comprehensive knowledge on the IBM compatible platforms.
I am able to write console applications using VB6, and as in your case, a DOS-emulator. I've experience in doing GUI in console applications.
It wouldn't be a problem to me. JPG/GIF/PNG is surely possible.
