It can be VB or VC++ code. My requirement is to be able to detect the presense of the Adobe Reader on the computer, open a given PDF file, and extract its text to a memory buffer. I have no need for the PDF file's format information or graphic content. Since my application will batch process many PDF files, the code module must support unattended operation (no user interface). All required info for operation must be through passed parameters. There is every possibility that the Adobe Reader may not support the above requirements. I realize that the full Adobe Acrobat product does support this. I don't want information concerning the full Acrobat product. Deliverables: 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Complete ownership and distribution copyrights to all work purchased. I have a open source library that can parse pdf to html format.
