Description:
A user interface for identifying and scheduling rental inventory.
At a glance the user will be able to find a unit and see if the unit is rented for particular day(s).
Deliverables: 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Installation package that will install the software (in ready-to-run condition) on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) Complete ownership and distribution copyrights to all work purchased.
A screen providing a left hand column of the rental units with alpha search capability.
To right of the rental unit column is a day grid with one cell for each day. If the unit is available for rent the cell for that day is white If the unit is rented but the deposit not yet received the cell is red. If the unit is rented and the deposit has been received the cell is green. If the unit is scheduled for maintenance the cell is blue. If the rental is multiple day, the delivery cell day is orange. If the rental is multiple day, the pickup date cell is yellow.
The rental units column scrolls vertically and scrolls the day grid as well. The day grid scrolls horizontally to show future dates to the right and past dates to the right. There will be a date time picker activated by a button to choose a date.
Above the day grid and scrolling with it will be arow of cells that contain a number representing the labor requirements for all the items rented from that day.
The module will use the following paradox tables: RENTALJOB RENTEDITEM INVENTORY
The rental unit column will be populated with the LOOKUPNAME field from the INVENTORY table. The day grid cells will be colored by data from the RENTEDITEM table.
At a glance the user will be able to find a unit and see if the unit is rented for particular day(s).
Double clicking on a unit in the rentalunit column will bring up a screen with the detail of that rental unit from the INVENTORY table.
Double clicking on an a white cell in the day grid will bring up a screen to add a record to the RENTEDITEM table.
Double clicking on a red, green, orange, yellow or blue cell will bring up a screen with the detail of the RentalJob containing that rented item.
Double clicking on the date label along the top of the day grid will produce a preview of a report of everything rented for that day.
Module will be integrated with existing system.
