Description:
A program to determine the first three highest rated horses in a maximum field of 40 runners, using java language.
SRS: Frame(1): displays the name "Winning Ways" as header with a gif of a running horse in a window frame. The message "Welcome to Winning Ways " displays underneath. THere should also be a GUI- user login grid in this window, when activated displays frame (2)
Frame (2): displays the current variables, which form part of the program. The variables grid all have dropdown list, where additional items can be added to or deleted from the variables grid. THe variables are:
1.Meeting, 2.Type of track,3.Draw bias,4. Going,5.Type of race,6.Distance of race,7. class of race, 8.Horse names,9.Horse rating,Draw of horse,10.weight allocated to horse,11.number of days since horse last run,12.Numbers of runners in race,13.Jockeys
name, 14. jockeys rating, 15.Trainers name, 16.Trainers rating.
Frame (3): displays Past Performance. All variables are as in Frame (1) with the addition of the following variables: 16. Cumulative lenght horse won/lost,
17. Position horses finished in previous races and with the exception of (11)
The information is automatically inserted in the variables fields, once the data is loaded from either a file or disc....This file or disc will be provided by myself. The program should cater for this.
The formulae: The program should take into account the information of both window frames (2) and (3) and using probability, the rating of each horse is generated.By either using sort or bubble sort method the first three highest rated horse is displayed on frame (4)
Frame (4) : Displays the result of the program . i.e the 1st, 2nd and 3rd highest rated horses in the race selected. The window also has a log out label to exit the program
Deliverables:
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Installation package that will install the software (in ready-to-run condition) on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) Complete ownership and distribution copyrights to all work purchased.

hi
i'd like to do this for u. i've more than 2 yrs experience in java and can provide u with well commented source code. all the GUI will be done in swing which will provide a distinctive platform-independent appearance.or it can be done using awt too if u wish.
