This is ocurring in some Win98, Win2000 and Win XP systems. It is not common but about 1 in 10 users cannot complete the installation due to something in their OS preventing the writting to the registery or the execution of the compiled EXE file that is supposed to open after sucessfully writting to the registry. We are looking for someone who has access to several Windows operating systems and can install our sample files and hopefully reproduce what the occassional end user is experiencing. Next, we need to have you tell us WHY the internal (compiled) EXE is not executing after the registration code is entered. It is all self explanatory once you download and try installing one of the programs. We have already determined that the problem is NOT a firewall or virus software running locally on the end-users system. We have also identified that it is not an issue regarding the administrative rights of the system. Deliverables: a detailed analysis of the problem only - no fix or software coding is required for this project.
