An experienced installation creator could finish these items in a few hours.
We need an installation built that will run on InstallShield 8.0, if you do not
have the product please download the evaluation version. These items should be
done within the first in 5 days from bid acceptance so we can begin testing. The
hardest part about this bid is item 6 and it is basically complete.
Most of this project is complete but there are a few things that need to
happen in the installation that are not done. A previous coder was not able to
complete this. At bid acceptance you will receive all the files necessary and
our current Installation. All functionality from the current installation should
be in the one you develop. I.e. don&'t remove files or anything like that. The
installation will need to run on Windows 95a IE SP2 and above. Currently the
installation is in InstallShield 7.04 but we have just upgraded our license to
8.0 so you will need to also do the conversion (Very simple)
Don&'t bid if you will not give us 100% of your time. The deadline for
completion will be strictly adhered too. We need this done ASAP.
1) Detect a previous version of our application and inform the user it will
be uninstalled (give them the option to cancel out), then automatically run the
uninstallation inside the installation. The detection part is already working
but currently it only displays a message box and then exits the installation.
2) The uninstall and installation need to run several programs if they exist
to close any system monitors that are running from a previous installation
otherwise both can fail. We have the applications created we just need
InstallShield to run them.
3) Option to install desktop shortcut in the setup process.

Deliverables:
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Complete ownership and distribution copyrights to all work purchased.
